Dance with me?

Activity curated by Seesaw Project, artistic direction by Veronica Boniotti. There are things we want, things we put up with, things we consent to or refuse. Sometimes we say yes and wish we were capable of a flat no! Sometimes we regret our noes. We come closer, we move away, we adapt, we hide, we expose ourselves. Sometimes we make ourselves small to leave room. Other times we take up a great deal of it without even noticing. We are so unfit for life that we are perfect. For three Saturdays we'll try to take all of this a little less seriously and, for that very reason, very seriously, and we'll explore it through the body. Through contemporary dance and physical theater practices, and above all through play and the richness of gesture and movement, we'll try out emotions, boundaries, desire, closeness, distance, consent and choice. Simply to sharpen the technique of really asking ourselves how we are. Whether and how we're in it. And whether we feel like staying out. The workshop is open to neurotypical and neurodivergent people, with and without disabilities, with or without experience in dance or theater. No prerequisites needed. No need to be poised or cool. No need to tell your business. All you need is to bring a little curiosity and the desire to switch off your brain and see what happens.
