Four rooms and an outdoor area
Your place, for one night
Rent one room, or all of them, for a party, a course or a presentation. We bring the sound, the kitchen and the bar.
The Banco A Ristoro
Home cooking, and futurist polydrinks.
You don't need to take a course to sit down. You can come just to drink, just to eat, or just to stay. A membership card is enough.
The rooms are quiet todaythe counter opens with the courses and the evenings
"Bar" stands for Banco A Ristoro, the refreshment counter. Or so the story goes: the name supposedly came from a Tuscan who put it on his place in 1898. Probably not true, but at the Renny the counter is called that anyway.
At the counter you drink Italian. The cocktails use labels with a history, often as old as the furniture. Then there's spritzed wine, and for those who don't drink, grape juice and malted barley.
The furniture
Each piece comes from another life
The chairs, the armchairs, the cinema projector, the lamps. Almost everything in here had another life, or was sitting forgotten somewhere.
Some pieces are for sale: if you fall in love with an armchair, ask.
